One-click commit, push and pull. Unique search in history and undo for Git commands.

Git Mac Client

There is a native port of Git to Windows, called mysysgit. If you use Eclipse, there's a Git client that hooks into that - egit. TortoiseGit is a standalone GUI client. Git#/GitSharp is a client for git for.NET. Mac users will hopefully be able to provide some examples for MacOS.

Git for Mac Installer The easiest way to install Git on a Mac is via the stand-alone installer: Download the latest Git for Mac installer. Follow the prompts to install Git. Open a terminal and verify the installation was successful by typing git -version: $ git -version git version 2.9.2. The Visual Studio for Mac editor supports powerful built-in refactoring options such as Extract Method and Rename, accessible via the Quick Actions menu. Integrated Source Control Manage your code in Git or SVN repos hosted by any provider, including GitHub and Azure DevOps. I am doing the trial and would like to setup a repository that visual studio on Windows 8 and Xamarin Studio on a Mac can access. What is the best way to do this? I figure since.Net is cross compatible I can reference the same code files on Xamarin that I would use in Visual Studio. It seems like Xamarin likes Git.
